Medaka no Gakko Summer Session Details & Registration

Dates: June 19 – July 7, 2017 (No school Tuesday, July 4)

Time: 8:45am – 12:30pm, Monday through Friday

Location: Palo Alto Buddhist Temple, 2751 Louis Road, Palo Alto (Please do not call or mail the Temple with questions.)

Tuition: $425 per child (or $475 if time-stamped/post-marked after Feb 1st).  Total tuition is due upon registration, however it will be fully refunded if your child is not accepted into the program.  One payment may be made to cover all children.  Scholarships are available. For information about financial aid, please contact the Registrar.  Tuition also includes a t-shirt for each child.

After School Program: Kaeru is an afterschool program with hours from 12:30-3pm.  The cost is $380.

Enrollment: Children who have completed grades K-6 are eligible to attend. Class sizes are limited; depending upon enrollment, some classes may have a combination of grades.

All students, whether new or returning, must apply according to the procedure described below. Because we are experiencing a high demand for placement in Medaka no Gakko, please be aware that there may be more applicants than space in the program.

If you are also interested in Kaeru, the Medaka no Gakko Extended Program, please check the appropriate box during the registration process.

An application should consist of the following:

  • Competed online Medaka no Gakko Registration Form
  • Completed online Medical & Emergency Information Form
  • Completed online Family Commitment Preference Form

2017 Registration Packet

Deadlines: Onine registration must be completed on or before 11:59pm on February 1, 2017.  If you prefer to send in hard copies of the application forms, these must be post-marked by February 1st. Checks must also be postmarked by February 1st.  Applications submitted after February 1st will be considered only if there is room in the particular class and late fees will apply.

Cancellations: Full refunds (less a $50 administrative fee) will be made for cancellations before May 1.  For cancellations after that date, no refunds will be given.
